It’s all in the Details: Flashback Friday!

It’s Friday, so that means we’re flashing back to one of the most amazing weddings at Windwood!  It’s been two years since Jamie and Andrew tied the knot but we’re still having sweet dreams about how gorgeous the details of this wedding were!  “It’s all in the details” is not just a phrase, it’s something that actually sets your wedding apart from everyone else’s.  Whether it’s personalized napkins or cute charms added to the bouquet, your wedding details speak volumes about you as a couple and the tone you intend to set for the day.  Some details are handmade with love.  Our couples often call on aunts, grandmothers and even uncles to help with details by doing things such as sewing heirloom lace around the brides bouquets or building a keg! Jamie and Andrew’s wedding was filled with so many personal touches.  We absolutely loved the monogram initial at the entrance of the barn doors.  Potted flowers lined the chairs of the ceremony area while a beautiful flower adorned cross accented the stone fireplace.  For the sign-in tableMJP 631907 MJP 631294 MJP 631330 MJP 631299 MJP 631316 MJP 631628 MJP 631295 MJP 631655 MJP 631895 MJP 631899 MJP 631749 MJP 631901 MJP 631748 MJP 631903 MJP 631918, the couple chose framed photos to display next to an arrangement of baby’s breath and simple roses.  There are so many different ways to make every wedding a memorable one!  You really want your guests to leave and still talk about your wonderful details for years to come.  Whatever details you choose, make sure they’re a reflection of you as a couple and you can always make it a family or friend affair.  Have a get together with your bridesmaids to choose photos for the slideshow or just spend the day with nana going through family heirlooms that you can incorporate into the day!  We can’t wait to see what awesome details are in store for our Fall 2016 wedding season!  Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend!
