Windwood Equestrian has 2 openings for working students! If you love horses and want to pursue a career in a competitive equestrian field come learn with us! We are seeking a great individual who wants to learn first hand experience at one of Alabama’s finest equestrian centers.
WORKING STUDENTS WILL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO:
Work with top level competition horses in the fields of hunters/jumpers/dressage. (eventers welcome this is a great place to work on skills needed to get the scores to win in dressage and jumping)
Weekly lessons will be provided
Opportunity to ride horses at all levels of training
Monthly opportunities to go to USEF or local shows in our area
WORKING STUDENT TASKS:
Grooming horses
Mucking stalls
Riding
Assisting Trainers during lessons and training rides
General barn duties
WORKING STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:
