Windwood started off the new year with a great turnout for riding camp (our biggest camp to date). Despite the rainy weather, we accomplished a lot of hands-on learning. The kids learned to groom the horses correctly. Grooming lessons included key horsemanship points to enable them for future success at shows. They covered everything about their horses from top to bottom. By the end of camp, campers successfully tacked in teams to demonstrate their show readiness. Everyone left camp more knowledgable in both hands-on applications and general horse knowledge as well as equestrian vocabulary.
