Let me introduce you to Amber and Dylan, or should I say, Mr. and Mrs. Cline. These two are elementary school sweethearts who reconnected after college, and the rest was history. Amber first toured Windwood back in the Fall of 2020, where she fell in love with the property’s natural beauty. She especially loved the courtyard and the ivy-covered fireplace. The couple chooses a spring wedding date this past May!
Amber and her girls started the morning off bright and early in the bridal suite at Windwood with MUA Meagan Tucker. After getting into her wedding gown, Amber did a special first look with all of her bridesmaids on our front porch. These are my favorite because the girl’s reactions to seeing their friend is precious. Dylan got ready at our small barn with all of his groomsmen by his side.
Ceremony
Amber and Dylan choose to get married in front of our Lady Banks Rose Bush inside our arena. Our mahogany Chiavari Chairs against the blooming trees in the background were the perfect seating arrangement for the wedding. Amber’s dad walked her down the aisle, where he gave her away alongside her mother. Amber and Dylan said their vows to each other, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Reception
The reception took place outside in the courtyard. It featured white and pale pink floral arrangements with pops of gold from Alli J Creative. Alli enhanced the greenery already on the property with installations like the alter floral columns and the floating display above the cake. Barb with Barb’s Cakes crafted an all-white cake with a custom monogram. As the guests enjoyed their cake, they danced the night away to music from the band, Color the Night.
Amber and Dylan’s wedding day turned out to be stunning! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a momentous day in your lives. The entire Windwood event staff wants to wish the two of you years of happiness and love. Here’s to the years ahead and all of the adventures that will unfold!
