WHAT WE OFFER

OUR FACILITIES + AMENITIES

Windwood Equestrian desires to welcome you, your family, and your horse to a place very special.

Our mission is to provide equine facilities and care where your horse’s physical and emotional wellbeing are paramount. We design our programs with respect to each horse’s safety and unique needs.

  • The main barn, renovated and expanded in 2013, offers 24 12x12 stalls with automatic waterers. It includes many intricate details such as chandeliers, stall sconces, high-velocity ceiling fans, and updated wash stalls for both horse and owner. Riders enjoy the full kitchen and lounge, as well as dedicated lockers with private guest showers, and many beautiful outdoor spaces.

  • The small barn was built in 2008, and offers a casual and open feel that mirrors our main barn. It is used for horses in training with our affiliate trainer.

  • The main arena includes stadium lighting, irrigated footing, all-weather flooring, German Gio-tech style footing, and jumps.

  • The lesson arena is designed slightly smaller to make younger riders feel comfortable, and is connected to the school barn for safety and convenience.

  • The dressage arena is mirrored and full-size, with GGT dressage footing, a judging platform, and a shaded viewing arbor with seating.

  • Windwood Equestrian’s individual turn-out paddocks are a key component to the health and safety of our horses. Individual paddocks have a golf course-caliber irrigation system and are carefully maintained to ensure grass growth through a rotation system to help maintain horse health and to limit injuries. The horses are separated, but can see each other, which keeps them happy and safe. Other amenities include an exercise system, dog paddock, industrial fans, automatic water, rubber mats, 200+ acres of riding trails, stadium lighting, spectator seating, irrigated arenas, open fields, video cameras, and security and fire alarm systems.
